ZOO DAY
Riding the elephant!
On the train ride!
Polar Bear!
We enjoyed the gorillas! They just relaxed and ignored us.
Baylor enjoying the sunshine.
A monkey, I mean Averie hanging out!
Watching the tiger walk around.
Having fun!
The zoo was so much fun! We had the most beautiful day for the zoo! It was cool out, so the kids needed their coats, which was good because with the sun shine we were comfy warm! We saw a lot of animals, fish, played at the playground and ate our picnic lunch! Averie wanted to see the gorillas this time, right away! They made her nervous until this year. We also saw an orangutan family, they were so cute! I wish I would have asked for their names, but it was the little boy orangutan's 5th Birthday (there was also a mama, daddy and little sister orangutan). There was wrapping paper everywhere, crate paper, presents and fruit! He kept trying to sit on an upside down laundry basket and it kept collapsing. It was very funny. The video shows him finally succeeding and enjoying his grapefruit...

PHOTO SHOOT AND BATH TAILS AND EASTER
Black and whites...love em. Run!!!!
Best buds.
All dressed up for a photo shoot!
My brown-eyed babes.

Bath time! Averie didn't have her hair washed for bath, so I pulled it up... well, Baylor wanted his up too...
LOL. He looks so cute with a tail! We were all just cracking up!!!
Had to take the hair down eventually which made messy hair... man this kids hair grows so fast. I just cut it like 2 weeks ago!
Wow, we have been so busy with playdates and Easter and pictures and getting the house cleaned and organized and keeping up with church (I clean the church weekly, do a church newsletter and organize the littlest kids Sunday School class weekly!). We are getting ready to enjoy Daddy's vacation next week and making plans to do some fun stuff! We will probably go to the zoo, maybe to a State park in Indiana that we love, especially if the weather cooperates! I really want to drag daddy to a Gap outlet to pick up some summer clothes for us adults! Hmmm... that is really what's been happening with us. We are excitedly awaiting the 60 degree weather that is supposed to be here tomorrow and Friday. That will make things nice around here as we've had several days of COLD and rain. I don't mind rain, in fact I want to let the kids play in it, but not when it's 38 degrees!! Brrr. So...that is what we've been up to! I hope to update again soon...
Almost forgot to post a pic or two of egg coloring and Easter!
Coloring Eggs!
Baylor showing off his new slippers!
Easter morning, after searching for eggs and digging into the baskets.
Averie and her goodies from the Easter Bunny.

MR. 2 AND A HALF
Oh my goodness! Baylor, you are so big. And so mature. It has been such an amazing and wonderful time getting to know you and to watch you thrive and develop. You surprise us every day with your little quirks and funny faces, words and how smart you are. You are counting to 20 with almost no help. You are madly in love with blanket - and I know you will be for a long time to come. You sleep amazingly well, without any complaints or barely any talking before you fall asleep. You've always been an excellent sleeper. You eat almost anything. The only thing you don't care for is egg salad, maybe a texture thing. You love to play with your sissy, and follow her around. You enjoy dressing up in "costumes," playing tractors, cars, "going to work," and especially playing outside. You also are able to pedal a tricycle well. You love swinging outside and I can already predict that you will love the sand box! Baylor boy, you are so sweet. You test us here and there, but are easily encouraged to listen. You are a lovey boy, you give a good kiss and hug, but you don't snuggle so much anymore. Unless Averie wants to snuggle, then you are interested (a little friendly competition works out to mama's advantage in that situation). You are small and skinny, but so agile and coordinated. You are an excellent climber and love running around. All in all you are pretty amazing, and I am blessed to have you as my son. I love you B, you keep getting bigger and bigger and lovin me. And I'll keep lovin you, forever! HUGS and KISSES my boy!! xoxoxo
