FALL IS IN THE AIR

The kids are loving the leaves and playing in them, much better then last year. They were raking the leaves, jumping in them, sliding in them and tossing them in the air!

Here we are at the pumpkin patch again this year with our friends, Dan, Barb, Theresa, Joey and Nicholas. Here we are standing in front of the corn.

Well, here we are at the end of October. It is so amazing how fast this summer and fall are flying. The kids are getting bigger and more mature every day. I love spending my days with Averie and Baylor and just watching how they interact with each other, solve problems and play so well. Averie is so busy leading and directing, meaning that she is busing coming up with ideas and games to play. She is very into taking care of Dee Dee her baby. She is so loving and considerate and like a little mommy. She is so interested in Berenstein Bear books when we go to Grandma's house. She actually has Grandma read them 3 or 4 times each. It is so cute. Now, Baylor, oh me oh my. You are so BIG. You play so much and so well with Averie. You push your trucks around all the time and carry blanket around too. You are rarely a Mama's boy...only when Averie wants me too...then you pour on the charm! You are almost popping out a third molar. And the fourth one is not far behind. They look so painful, yet you are not phased by it. You are sleeping very well. Going to bed at about 8:15pm and waking up at about 8am. You also nap from about 1:45-4pm. Averie on the other hand is in bed by 8:15pm but usually doesn't fall asleep until 9:15 or 9:30pm. And wakes at about 8:15am, sometimes later. Nap for Averie is from about 1:45-4pm, but sleep usually happens by about 2:15pm or so. Not bad for a 3 1/2 year old and 2 year old... and then the time change will come...Saturday...so, we will be rearranging the sleeping thing, that should be interesting, but typically you both have adjusted well in the past. So, I've rambled on and on now...I will have more pictures within the next few days. We just got back from a quick trip to visit Grandma Judy and Grandpa Bill for Grandpa Bill's B-day. I will post those soon!!
